Private review build. Not for distribution. Copy is a draft and is not yet signed off by a solicitor.

You have just been pushed. Here is how you push back.

The UK playbook for professionals facing a PIP, a capability process, or a settlement offer. Built to use in the next 72 hours, not after they have run out.

Built from 30 years on both sides of the table. Reviewed by a UK employment solicitor. Tools, not advice. Plans, not panic.

The gap

Employers run a playbook. Most professionals do not.

When the process starts, the company already knows its next three moves. You are reading the letter for the first time. That gap is where most of the outcome is decided.

01

It is rarely about performance

A PIP or capability process is usually the first formal step towards ending your employment. Reading it as feedback costs you the time you need.

02

The first 72 hours decide it

What you sign, what you reply, and what you save in the first three days shapes everything that follows. Most people lose those hours to shock.

03

The paper trail is the leverage

The right documents, sent in the right order, are worth more than the right solicitor at the wrong time. Build it before you need it.

The kits

Three kits for three moments.

Each one is a self-serve pack of templates, scripts and worksheets. Bought with personal money, used the same day, built for the UK system.

Who it is for

Built for one reader. Not for everyone.

This is for you if

  • You are a UK professional, often 45 or over, in an active workplace crisis.
  • You want practical tools you can use the same day.
  • You want to push back with dignity, not theatrics.
  • You would rather self-serve than spend £350 an hour before you know what you need.
  • You want a paper trail and a plan.

This is not for you if

  • You are outside the UK. The statute and procedure are different.
  • You need representation in a live tribunal claim. We are not a law firm.
  • You are looking for motivational content or mindset work.
  • You want bespoke legal advice on your personal case. We give general guidance only.
Why this exists

Written by someone who has been on both sides.

30 years inside the corporate machine. I have managed people out. I have been managed out. The playbook is the same on both sides. The difference is that one side has it written down and the other is reading it for the first time.

"This is that playbook, written for the person on the wrong end of it."
Before you buy

The questions people ask first.

Is this legal advice?
No. Every kit is general guidance, reviewed by a UK employment solicitor. It helps you understand your situation, build your documentation and know what to ask. It is not advice on your specific case, and it does not replace a solicitor when you need one.
Will it work for my case?
Every case is different, so we sell tools, not guarantees. What the kits do is give you the moves employers expect you not to know, in the window where they still matter.
Do I still need a solicitor?
Sometimes yes. The kits help you know when to instruct one, what good representation looks like at that stage, and what it should cost. Used well, they make every hour you do pay for more productive.
Is this UK only?
Yes. The content is built on UK statute, the ACAS Codes and the Equality Act 2010. It is not written for any other jurisdiction.
